The Ireland East Hospital Group (IEHG) is delighted to announce that IEHG HR & Nursing Staff Bank have been shortlisted for the HR Leadership & Management Awards 2021 in two categories.

Best Public Sector HR Initiative

The Ireland East Hospital Group developed and implemented an effective, rapid and responsive recruitment strategy to resource mass and local COVID-19 vaccination centres, within our geographical area covering a population of 1.1 million.  We introduced digital technology to recruit and roster multi-disciplinary teams to deliver an effective vaccination programme to protect the people we serve.

HR Team of the Year

Developing a Lean Recruitment Model enabled the Ireland East Hospital Group to implement, automate and standardise an end-to-end recruitment process.  The efficiencies delivered benefited candidates, service managers and our HR team. 

By using Lean and digital technology we significantly improved all key recruitment metrics, ultimately improving patient care.
